Default Critique my lables template

It's nothing fancy. I based it off of Westmalle's lables. It's easy to modify and very flexible. My logo needs help, for sure, as I'm not much of a graphic designer.

I like the background for the second one. I recommend that you use it on all your labels. Looks really nice!

Not a fan of the pitched lettering but that's just me.

Do the lables go on as they sit, or are the rotated 45 degrees to form a diamond? I think that's the way to go.

Yes, they are rotated. It's just easier to keep the files in this orientation for printing and cutting purposes.

What is pitched lettering?
