I know a good barcode site. I am now using a C# QR Code barcode generator SDK from there. It's good. Users can easily adjust the parameters of qr code. It's easy to use. Just follow the tutorial of creaing barcode in C#. Share with you all. You can also find many other barcode generators there, like Java QR Code barcode generator SDK, etc.

This site will let you do up to 2000 characters, should be good to go for a beer recipe.

I'll also be screwing around with tweaks to the code. Should be fun!
Text files seem to be currently limited to 1500 characters but other than that it seems to work great! Here is one I just made with a quote I dig.

I dont have a smart phone but I found this program that lets my iMac read QR codes from images from the built in camera or from image files.

This barcode generator enables you to create standard barcode that is scannable by most printers.
