where am i?

Holy cow. I'm in the wilds of Arkanssas. On my way to Little Rock after celebrating a beautiful Chrisytmas ewith my family. Which means, of course, thsat I'm fairly lit. Obviously, that's the only way to handle the holiday in my famiy. That and, of course, a few bottles on the road as the flooded fields of Arkansas roll past the passenger window.
Howd I get here?? How'd I get to the point where I am looking forward to a chinese buffet in little rock? Because, of course, my husband being Jewish, it is a requirement that he have Chinese food on the day of Our Lord's birth. Don't ask me why...it just is.
Like any activity surrounding the holidays, four Magic Hats help.
Considerably.
Christmas and arkansaswith a Jewish husband. And I'm drinking on I-40 as he drives. I'm. So going to hell for this. Help me, Revvy! But not too much help! 'Cause I'm having a good time.
Maybe I should ask for Revvy's blessing instead.

Play along at home. Just a simple I, IV, V, in 3/4 time.
Each chord is in the ( ), each ( ) gets 3 beats
Medium-slow, cryin'-in-yer-beer kinda thing
(C)Christmas and (C)arkansas with a (F)Jeeeeeeewish (C)husband.
(C)And I'm drinking on (C)I-40 as he (G)driiiiiiiiiiiives.(G)
(C)I'm. So going to (C)hell for this. (F)Heeeeeeeeeelp me, (C)Revvy!
(G)But not too much (G)help! 'Cause I'm (F)having a good (C)time.
Yee haw!

I know a few jewish people and every single one of them has chinese and goes to see a movie on x-mas. They told me it was because they always have the day off work and these are the only places that are open on x-mas day.

Exactly right. For us jews chinese food and a movie on Christmas day is as much tradition as a honey baked ham or turkey for those who celebrate.
