He also doesn't know Kirkliston is a place, not a company, but what does it do? I mean if it's Scottish it's obviously awesome but I need more info before I go buying it.

Well I googled and the only thng that came up was links back to the auction...but I did find out that Kirkliston is scottish Maltser, and they sell beer kits...I'm thinking that that is an oldschool homebrewing "Beer in a bag" fermenter...

I think most of the beer in a bag kits companies folded...one of them was Paddockwood in Canada...
Betcha that's an oldschool version of it from Scotland..basically a no-boil, add warm water and pitch yeast into the bag.
