Default Thank you Megan at Whole Foods

for placing my Pliny the Elder and Stone VE 09.09.09 bottle conditioned beers on their side on the conveyor belt and letting them sit there spinning for a minute or two. I just love all that sediment getting stirred back into my beer! You're lucky you were hot.

That is all.

I had a checkout girl do this at a store not too long ago. She put the bottles on their sides, and I reached over and corrected them for her.

Don't bitch. Atleast you can buy beer at a grocery store, let alone beer like that. The cashiers really have no idea.

Also, I don't think Pliny is bottle conditioned. At least, I have never noticed any sediment at the bottom of my bottles when I had one from the fridge.

I'm sorry for those that were expecting a story involving the meat department.

I definitely see fuzziness at the bottom of the bottle now that its been sitting in the fridge for a couple of hours. Understandable that there wouldn't be too much carbonation, as they go from bottling line to shelves pretty quickly. Mine were bottled 11/9/09.

there is so little carbonation to Pliny I don't think there would be any noticeable sediment.

You said she was hawt, but I would still be upset even if she flashed me.

She was wearing a big coat, so I couldn't assess the entire situation, but I'll put it in a way you Texans can understand "She had a purddy mouth."
