Looking back on what I said, you are mostly right, though my luck lately has dictated that the guy across the table will always have the 3rd 8. Personal experience over the pure numbers.

Also, I'd rather have big slick than rockets anyday. There's something psychological that will force the average person to continue betting until the bitter end if they have two aces in their hand, even if there is a straight-flush draw on the table they have nothing to do with. Again, personal preference. I've lost a lot of money both real and digital with rockets, but big slick almost never lets me down.
