Here's one I forgot about. I still remember....When daddy let ME drive!
And to think it all started with grampaw, who was a "runner" who drove like Fangio. God bless both of them for those memories.

I'm back folks. Been around posting, but didn't have any inspiration for my country music. She's gone, moved out a month ago and this ginormous house is all thats left. one man in a 5 bedroom house, gotta be a country song to go with that...

might have already posted it, but thats alright.

To me, this song is about searching for something that doesn't exist in a big city. Its a Twitty song, but take it for what you will, I like Waylon a lot better.

Not sure what to say about this one. Its kind of new and I hate new country, but I can identify with these lyrics. This dudes style is at least a little edgy, but what the hell.....

Idk if I posted this before, but a newer member has the chorus of this song from Bill Currington in his sig. I'm posting this as a thank you for reminding me of a rather quickly made friend from my younger years in Ford's CEP#1.
He played the spoons at The Grand Ol' Oprey when I was a lil feller. And he had the pics to prove it...old B&W photos from vertichrome pan film. He was a great old guy that was heart broken at lost youth &...I guess...his Grand ol Oprey days being behind him.So to our fellow member & my dear departed friendTHANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!!!

I have not posted on this thread in a whlile.. I am a fool for not doing that

Pretty great tunes have been posted recently.

If you know one thing about me you know I love music but am stuck in the past..

I"m a John Wayne die hard fan if that means anything... also really like Clint Eastwood movies..

That's beside the point.. I like Johnny Cash!

Going to post one of his greatest hits. It's a few years before he passed on.

Rest in peace Johnny Cash

Love you brother, thank you for the music you shared
