If you only consider those two teams, it doesn't matter.
However, I'm sure there are other teams in the conference that would really not want LA to have those two points, especially under suspicious circumstances.

It's only 1 point though - game would have gone to OT, and LA would have probably won that, too.
I don't think a single team cares. You can't waste time and energy on strange things you can't control. You want to finish ahead of the Kings? Win more games. Simple.

I agree that nobody cares much if it was some strange thing that is out of your control, but if it's some strange thing that can be pinned on a person working the clock, then I think that more than a few people would be mildly interested.
After watching the video I have a feeling that the automatic calibration theory is either very wrong, or the process is way out of whack. The adjustment necessary should not be visible by the human brain.
I personally don't care. If my team were affected by it then you're dam right I'd be upset!

I'd rather see them use the $10 stopwatch I use for brewing and have the periods be FRACTIONS of a second longer or shorter. Wait until this happens in the playoffs...

Making or not making the playoffs could easily hinge on one point. This is a huge issue.

Even Buttman is looking into it!
Pretty soon there will be replay review on clock reviews.

"You can clearly see the clock is moving. I think the goal will stand."

Scared about the game tonight. Toronto is coming off a huge win against the Pens, Sens have been sucking ass for a while now.
I hope the boys pull out of this losing funk.
Although if we try really really really hard, and lose every single game, we might finish low enough for a top 5 pick, and this draft is going to be epic. We won't be able to fail for Nail (damn you Columbus) but there's a lot of talent to be had in this year's draft.
If Ottawa wins tonight I predict a cup. If they lose I predict 2nd last overall finish. However, that can all change based on the game after this one.
Go Sens!!!!
EDI: completely off topic, but go Patriots!

Pittsburgh picks up another win, this time against the Bruins. Malkin scores again.
Good game overall, very physical yet no fighting and very little petty sh-t. It would be interesting to see these two in the eastern conference finals.
