My younger sister just bought her first house. It's six blocks from my Dad's house in St. John's ( North Portland, Oregon ).

I am so happy for her.
I am also Jealous.

Evil woman has a great yard with fruit trees and a HUGE garden space, yet told me that Hops are too much work.

When is the house warming party?

These days, I'm jealous of anyone with a basement or a yard. Grew up in New York (mostly), lived in Illinois, Michigan, New York, Connecticut, and Minnesota, always had a yard and a basement.

Now I'm in California, in hock up to my ears in a townhouse that costs more than the GDP of some small countries. The grass is always greener, I guess...
