Default Coffee and stout wort, with cream!

I'm brewing oatmeal stout. I'm also drinking coffee.

I was pondering this- that my oatmeal stout is very much like a coffee stout, but without the coffee due to the malts I use.

So, why not combine them? Coffee with a tiny bit of cream with a shot of wort.

OMG. It's good. I don't even think I'm going to have a beer until chilling time. This is a wonderful drink!

That sounds awesome. And, from my office, I'm quite jealous.

I'm wearing a tie. Pretty much the antithesis of what you're doing.

I'm actually still in my pajamas. I'm just brewing in my PJs, drinking coffee, brewing 10 gallons, and playing on the internet. Typical day for us retirees!

Hmmmm. I have some homegrown dried centennials in the freezer that I never bothered to vacuum pack. I'm going to try that!

Actually, what would happen if you used hops and corriander in the brew basket, and then added frothed milk cafe au lait style with a good amount of raw sugar?

Kind of like a coffee hot scotchy. Sounds delightful.
