Damn stove, can't even get a 3 gallon partial boil to a rolling boil. Stupid Stove. Switched to hot plate, it has gone up 20 since then, but still not enough.

This is not my day. Almost been an hour and a half trying to get a boil.

I bet I can cool it in record time today though. -25 outside with lots of snow!

I have a turkey fryer, but it is in the shed which is not really accessible due to the snow.

My next brew might be outdoors regardless of temperature, or I might buy a bigger electric hot plate and brew in my basement.

I was thinking that too...I might wait until I get a bigger pot before I go with a heat stick, but that is a great idea!
