Sleep deprivation is great at consciousness altering - when my second child was born (the older was 2), I basically didn't get a nights sleep for the next two years . . . and I've never been the same!

We just have a 4 month old, but last night I almost lost my mind. She wouldn't calm down and sleep for nothing. My wife was in tears from the frustration and I was ready to go in the basement and chug 5 gallons of apfelwein from my carboy to make the pain stop.

Nothing like being dead tired, work to get done, and having it about 100 degrees with 100% humidity and no AC to put you in a good mood on a Sunday morning.
