Default Anyone ever been to Chico CA/Sierra Nevada???

Well less then a year from now I will be getting married. We want our honeymoon to be in CA. We want to drive up and down the state for 10-14 days. I told her that if we go to CA I must go to Sierra Nevada. I dont know if they do tours or not. I know they have a pretty cool gift shop but dont know much about the tours or how the brewery is.

Any info would be great, thanks

They post that you can do a self tour.

Wow I love the beer. I think its wonderful, the Harvest Ale is amazing.
My fiance says she would love to go there because she knows how much I love the company and to see where its made, wow that would be great.

I live 20 mins from Harpoon and Sam Adams and have been to both a few times and fans of their beer would love the tours they do. Sierra Nevada has a special place in my heart so if I do make it there I can die happy.

I have been there a few times before. IMO, the tour is underwhelming. The self-guided tour is nothing more then walking up a flight of stairs and watching the operations behind glass windows. I have never done the guided tour, but from what I have heard, it is the same route, but with a guided narrative.

Now, you must definitely go there and sample the beer in the pub. Do a sampler. There are usually 15-17 beers on tap. Many only found at the pub.

You should also check out Lagunitas and Anchor. I have done both those tours and they are quite nice. I believe that they both require advanced reservations.
