Its slightly on the low end of ABV for a RIS, mine finished at 8.5%. But, it is DAMN good. Don't forget to FWH

Noticed that and figured I could throw an extra 5 or 10 lbs of base malt I have laying around in there.

I added a pound of honey and raised the mash temp up to 158. 9.06ABV and tastes darn good. Could use a little more roast flavor. Nice recipe though.

I can't seem to be able to say goodbye to this thread... It's how I got introduced to BMW in the first place, and now I go to Ed for almost everything. I'm hoping it kicks back up eventually.
