I am not sure this would really make it that much easier to do a HERMS system, but I do think it would be a good alternative to the stainless CFC from williams.

You would still need 2 pumps to make it work.

That being said, there are 2 main advantages I think that the cyclone CFC would have over the williams version. 1)Price 2)Ease of cleaning. You would probably get a better efficiency out of the copper as well.

I have a eHERMS system myself, and might actually give this a shot when I receive mine to see how well it works. Currently I use a 50' stainless coil in my HLT. I am not sure what your time frame is for making a decision, but it will likely be a couple of months before I get around to trying it out.

I have the hydra IC and the thing is a beast. i upgraded from a generic 25 ft IC. i love how easy it is to clean and how much faster it cools.
