Just ordered a Hornet chiller! Going to work it in with my pre chiller and see how it does in the MS heat this summer!

I bought a hydra from you guys and will be trying it out for the first time this Sunday. I can't wait to see this thing in action. Superb build quality.

I may be missing this, but do you have any metrics on cooling more than 5 gallons of wort? I use MoreBeer 26 gallon heavy duty kettles and often brew 15 gallon batches.

They seem like awesome chillers, just curious about different volumes.

pvpeacock and Npwein, glad to hear that you are happy with your chillers and please keep spreading the word about how well they work! To those who have yet to use them, if you have any issues or questions, email us, we would be happy to help.

For chilling times of different volumes of wort with our chillers, it is pretty much a straight equation (for example: 3 times more wort takes 3 times as long to chill with our ICs). There are other variances that can come into play that can cause the chilling to take slightly longer, but they are going to be very minor. Make sure you are following our "Immersion Wort Chiller Optimization" recommendations during chilling for the best results.

Thanks to all of our customers for getting JaDeD!
