Default Tuesday Special: FREE glasses with Promotional Hop Bomb Recipe

Buy Austin Homebrew Supply's new Promotional Hop Bomb recipe on Tuesday, and get an etched pint glass and an etched 6.5 oz tasting glass for free. Just select the free glasses from the drop down menu on the Hop Bomb page.

Promotional Hop Bomb
We call this our molotov hoptail. With 287 taste bud shredding IBUs, this is our hoppiest beer yet. Forget double IPAs. Forget triple IPAs. Were talking septuple IPA. It features Carapils, crystal 40 L, and 19 oz of hops. O.G. = 1.073. Approximately 7.5% ABV.

Extract - reg. $70.99 - sale $55.99
Mini Mash - reg. $66.99 - sale $51.99
All Grain - reg. $57.99 - sale $42.99

This kit will remain on sale even after Tuesday, however, the free glasses deal will end at 11:59 pm Central Time, Tuesday, May 25th.

Looks like a good deal on a pretty serious IPA. Any hint on what hop varieties are included, and whether they're leaf or pellet? You would lose a big % to wort absorption if it were all leaf.

How does this compare to your Pliny Clone?

Actually I'd be interested to know how the flavors compare. Looks like the grain bill is similar to a clone recipe for Blind Pig I've seen, so this might have a somewhat Russian River like flavor to it. And that's more hops than pretty much all Pliny Clones I've seen. This could be a very interesting beer. I'd been thinking about a new IPA recipe, might just give this a whirl instead of working on my own.

brrman...your "Nierra Sevada" ale is cracking me up

so is 287 IBUs something you feel more than taste? like maybe you feel your esophagus dissolving...

So, I looked up Ruination to see a comparison of its IBU vs Hop Bomb -- all I can find is that Ruination is 100+.

Theres no way I could handle this beer ... but I want free glasses
