I made two pounds on Christmas Eve and it was a hit! Oddly, my mom had bought a cheese making kit and book for me for Christmas, so I now have enough ingredients for 48 more pounds of mozzarella (minus the milk, of course!) So it looks like I've got a new hobby.

I'm at my inlaws and was planning on making this kit here but forgot it I guess I have a lot of cheese making ingredients when I get home! Looking forward to using the pots that came with it to steep my specialty grains in next time I decide to make an extract beer.

Gave a set to my mother and stepfather who both love cooking, they loved it. I don't think they've had a chance to use it yet but I'm interested to see how successful it is.

Forrest, I gotta say, my bride was THRILLED to get this set as a Christmas gift. I gave it in three parts: a gallon of milk first, then the stockpots, then finally the sealed kit with the chemicals. She was looking at me as if I was an alien after the gallon of milk; when she unwrapped the stockpots, she asked me if I was going to brew in them (I did tell her that they came from Austin Homebrew Supply!); then, when she finally got the kit, she was pleased as could be. She tells me that she's going to be making us some cheese tomorrow, so thank you!

She did enjoy watching the YouTube video, by the way!

SWMBO made batch #1 of cheese tonight. She thoroughly enjoyed it, and the cheese turned out great.

Thank you Forrest for the wonderful deals you come up with.
