Will i need to drill the cooler to use that Weldless Spigot for Cooler Conversion?

or will it fit the existing hole?

It fits the existing hole for Rubbermaid coolers with the stock push button type spigot. I use mine on a 10 Igloo beverage cooler like this. I don't know the fit on other cooler styles, but the nipple is a 1/2"x1.5" and the hole fit is nice and snug.

Hope that helps.

Cool, I have a 10 Gal Igloo, so hopefully it works. This happened at a good time. Order is placed, Thanks!

Oh, BTW... The ability to order some of the grains in OZ is awesome. I will certainly be ordering again especially with the reasonable shipping rates. I hate being stuck with like 12 oz of something that you likely will never use again, or just to use another 4 oz next year on the same recipe. I am about to do a few 3 gallon batches which obviously requires smaller QTYs.

Thank you for the order! It will ship out in the morning and should be there by the weekend. If you have any questions or issues with the spigot, please send me a PM or shoot me an email through our website.

Glad you like the specialty grains by the oz:mug:

Cheers!

Just placed an order for the 12" FB and some close nipples. Does the FB include a dip tube? If not, what type would work best with your hardware? Great price by the way and shipping was great too!!!

Cheers!!

I almost got the 12" FB as well, but I was afraid the backside of the spigot might get in the way.... Is this an issue?

Thanks for the order:mug: It does not come with a dip tube. To connect to the backside of the spigot, assuming it is the weldless spigot on sale, would be to have a 1/2"mpt x 3/8"barb in the spigot coupler with 3/8" silicone tubing connecting to the FB barb. Another method would be to remove the coupler and have a 1/2"fpt x 3/8"barb, then tubing, then FB.

Good question...it does interfere if there is a mpt x barb screwed into the coupler. The mpt x barb would have to be removed in order for the FB to be removed. However, if you remove the coupler and go with a fpt x barb, then you can remove the FB without having to unscrew the barbed fitting on the spigot side.
