yeah I ordered a 50 mesh 8" basket...slow shipping impatiently waiting for it to arrive for next weekends brew day. UPS tracking says it should be delivered tomorrow. woot.

is anybody going to do a batch with more than a few ounces of hops? haha I mean seriously, I am looking for something that will take teh punch of an all pellet IPA for 11G batches. Please humor me with a batch that has 1 lb of pellet in it for 11 g

Check out post 156. I'm pretty sure they did a 11gal batch pale ale with pellets.

I didn't see anything on 156 except a message from you, I will cruise the posts to see what I can find out.
I guess I just thought it was odd. If I bought a 4 wheeler, I would not only take it along the side of the road, I would go into the mud to see what it could do.
Unfortunately due to my set up the current offerings do not work for me. Your solution is too skinny and tall. I have a wide pot with an element in it. So I need a wide short option (like we discussed in the past). I am back to thinking about building one again.

Ahhh...way off. Try 275 and if you need something custom check out 271 for an idea. I do remember talking about it but I'm not sure if we ever discussed the final OD and mesh. Send me an email through the site if you want to go further.
