I just threw the dry hops and oak in... I cannot wait to try this one out!

Just put this bad boy in the keg. The oak comes through very nicely!

What would you compare this to in the craft beer world?

I'd like to give it a fair shake before comparing it to anything commercial. It's not cold, carbonated, etc. yet. I'm not your guy for beer reviews anyway, I like what I like, haha. I'll send ya a bottle if it's any good!

Have you had a chance to taste the 'finished' product yet? I'm curious about this one and the idea of the brewery start up is great.

Its force carbing now, but it tastes great. A little hot, but I'm sure that will mellow a little. It's got just enough oak to be noticeable but not too much to drown out the other flavors.

Ok! Thanks for the feedback. I'm not an oak fan, so I'd actually probably leave that out. But I love big IPAs.

You may be surprised, give it a try. I am not a huge oak fan but this is quite nice.

The oak is intended to bend the flavor. It is there but barely. Adds just the right touch. Trust me if you like IPAs you will love it as is.
