We have a Promo Nottingham IPA that will be launched for the sale this weekend. They will go fast so order up.

I just got my Choco-Raspberry Stout kit today...Can't wait to brew it, if I ever get time!

Forrest, have you ever brewed it with WLP005?

WLP005 would work well too.

Forrest, as far as that Nottingham IPA goes, how long would be too long to wait to brew it after ordering? Basically, would waiting a month be terrible?

I want to brew an IPA soon, but I'll also be moving soon and can't start anything until I do that. I will undoubtedly brew it the day I move in, however.

It will be fine. The only real concern is the extract starting to grow surface mold. You can add a little vodka to the surface of the extract and swish it around every week to prevent mold.

Another question on that kit, Forrest:

Would it be a bad idea to replace the WhiteLabs WLP039 with the dry Danstar Nottingham? I have very little experience with liquid yeast and am trying to stick with what I know, for now.
