Parts from The CHI Company
|
|
RE: AHB "Missing parts"
We too have had a problem with "missing parts".
-Approximately 2 months ago, a purchaser posted on a U.S. Brew forum that we replaced a part, no questions asked (the customer is always right...right?)
Since then we have had a rash of people stating that they received everything but the....(8 out of 10 times the most expensive thing on their order)
-We take pride in our service.
-Each shipment is packed item by item, then checked off the packing list ONLY AFTER insertion into the shipping package.
-Each shipment is double checked by two people for accuracy before the package is sealed for shipment.
-If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at: sales@chicompany.net
Thank you,
The Chi Company

It stinks when people take advantage of good natured people, or businesses. Heard great things about CHI company, keep up the good work.

I really don't understand the point of this post. I'm reading into it that you will no longer be replacing any missing parts from orders. if this is indeed the case it will make it very difficult to place an order with you again.
I ordered 4 kegs from you with replacement orings. I didn't receive the orings, so mistakes do happen. In you defense you quickly fixed the mistake.
If you read through this thread you will see that I'm not the only person to be missing orings.
While I understand that fraud is going to be an issue with any web based business punishing the customers with real problems is not the solution. Perhaps a more appropriate solution would be to ship the more expensive items separately if you could negotiate a deal with your shipping company.

I agree.
I have only heard good things about Chi Company, and have been looking into ordering some items from you. Are you saying, by posting this, that you will not replace missing items? Or is there just a new process that will take place when items are missing?

Evidently this is their policy. I had an order sitting still in the box when this thread was first started. I opened the packages and sure enough, I had parts missing and the parts that were there were not actually what I ordered. I ordered MLF connectors and receive barbed connectors. I ordered 4 pairs and received 4 connectors total. I have contacted the company through their contact page on the website, the email address listed on the website as well as my invoice as well as a PM through the forum here. I called them as well as received no answer. Is this company still in business?
I never post customer service issues on forums as I know mistakes can happen and emails can be sent to spam filters. It has been a month though with no replies. I am not saying I won't buy from again as I know these things can happen. I am mostly hoping the owner or rep will see my post so I can get my order straight although there were pretty bold statements in the original post and I had received an order a couple days before that had issues that were claimed to not being able to happen. Hopefully it is just something simple stupid that kept my messages from getting through.
If the owner/Rep of this company sees this post, please contact me through either a PM here or reference order #968 to get my contact info.
Thanks

Problem taken care of. It appears that indeed my messages must of been filtered by a spam filter. I received a message today from the company and my issue has been resolved. Just goes to show that when problems arise sometimes the vendor is not ignoring you and indeed outside issues can corrupt the Customer Service process. Thank goodness I could get through to them through here.

sucks the shipping is horrible for their nice kegs or else I'd buy some from them. I can't see paying $45 in shipping alone for 4 kegs. Granted, $75 for 4 kegs is damn nice, but the cost of shipping has me looking elsewhere.
