Oxygen kit now available at Northern Brewer
|
|
Dissolve high levels of O2 in your wort! Oxygenation with compressed O2 and a diffusion stone gives a high level of dissolved O2 much faster and more effectively than aeration with an aquarium-style pump. Dissolved O2 in your wort means healthier yeast, shorter lag phase, faster fermentation, lower levels of fermentation byproducts like esters and diacetyl, and lower terminal gravity. Needed but not included is a disposable oxygen tank, available at hardware stores.

How would I use this? Sanitize and then give it oxygen for how long?

Fwiw, my stone sinks to the bottom and stays there, no wand needed.

Pigs are fantastic creatures. They convert vegetables into bacon.

boil the stone for 15 min. don't touch the stone grab the fitting. The oils from you finger will clog it.
