that is a great price, I'll probably pick one up as I need a spare serving tank anyway.

Great price, I would order one but I already have 2 luxfer 5lb tanks and 2 luxfer 20lb tanks. The aluminum is much lighter than the steel.

Glad to hear you like the price! You won't be disappointed. This is a Luxfer brand cylinder which is arguably the highest quality in the world. They manufacturere their tanks with a custom L6X aluminum alloy a proprietary version of 6061-T6 specially optimized by Luxfer metallurgists. You can read more about it here: http://www.bvrgelements.com/5_lb_co2_tank.html

I'd still like clarification if the 7 lb tank has a round bottom or not. Do you know if it does? If not, its a great price!!

No, the 7 lb CO2 cylinder does not have a round bottom. As noted in our response to a competitors erroneous posting our 7 lb cylinder is a reconditioned steel medical oxygen tank with a flat bottom. Steel medical oxygen tanks are in wide circulation and actually have a higher pressure rating than a typical CO2 tank. This means it is actually a stronger higher quality construction than a normal CO2 cylinder. Our 7 lb tank is very competitively priced at $24.95. The main disadvantage to this tank is that it is tall and skinny therefore is not suitable for some spaces. Also because of it's dimensions it should be secured so as to not tip over. If you have any other questions feel free to contact me at 866-496-4983 or bvrgelements@gmail.com

Also keep in mind that all of our reconditioned cylinders are inspected, cleaned, blasted painted, hydro-tested and re-certified by one of the nations largest DOT authorized service centers. Thanks!

Thanks for the note. We don't do local pick up yet but are working on setting it up. I'll put a post out when we start doing it. In the mean time we have great shipping rates so maybe we can still help you out.
