I just bought 2 of these kegs. Try we're quickly shipped and over all I'm very happy.

They were a little hard to seal at first but I think it's just because they're new. You really have to pull up on the lid to get a seal.

I couldn't find any blemishes with the kegs on the inside or outside. It was worth the couple extra bucks over used kegs to get these.

I'm also looking at these.

Does anyone know who made them and where were they made?

I'm trying to avoid Chinese made equipment if possible.

Thanks

Anyone having an issue with the out post? I have to really push down on my qd and then on the outer collar to sit. Then it dispenses much slower than my other kegs. It's also really slow to fill through the out post. Not sure I I would buy this brand again.

Yup. I had the same problem at first as well. I looked it up and found that a lot of others have had the same problems with universal style poppet springs. I took a pair of vice grips and squished the springs to take some of the "bounce" out of them. Much easier now. I want to say that I found some people even cut a little off the spring.

I think a lot of the problems people may have with these kegs is that we're just used to used, well broken in kegs. These are just too new!

Hope this helps.

Same problem with the disconnect. Actually broke one trying to get it on. You are right it does dispense a lot slower. First time using I thought I clogged the diptube. Second time still slow and was thinking diptube was too long. I will try the spring trick when this keg is empty.

Hmm. Interesting to hear. I bought 2 of these as well, and was wondering why the collars were so hard to snap in. Being new to kegging, I wasn't sure if that's just the way things were, or if it was just because the kegs were new. I haven't actually filled or dispensed yet, since I'm still in the process of putting together all the kegerator bits. I noticed that both posts/disconnects were pretty stiff, to the point where it hurts trying to push down the edge on the collar with my thumbs.

So to adjust the poppet spring, you just disassemble the post, right?
