March 815 PL Pump, Make an Offer!
|
|
Must move 815 PL Pumps! Available on eBay. Make an offer!
This pump normally retails for between $145 and $160, depending on the retailer. For a limited time we're taking reasonable offers on eBay.
The March 815 PL pump is very similar to the 809 HS. The 815 has a higher flow (7 gallons / min vs 6 gallons / min) and can pump higher in the air (18.6 ft vs 12.1 ft).
The March 815 PL pump is constructed of food grade material that will not create off flavors. It will handle wort at boiling temperature, and take back pressure (flow restriction). This pump can be used for an all-grain system, or used to pump wort through a counterflow or brazed plate heat exchanger.
Features:
- 1/2" NPT connections for both inlet and outlet
- 6’ power cord with plug for easy use
- Mounting bracket included
- 115V
- 1/25 horsepower, continuous duty 1.4 Amp motor.
- Flow rate: 7 gallons / min
- Max head: 18.6 feet
- Withstands liquids up to 250 F (121 C)
- Food Grade
- The head is made from high temperature polysulfil (sometimes called polysulfone)
This is a limited time opportunity. Click here for details. Have a fun and safe 4th of July.

Make an offer is not an option - at least on an Android

The shipping on ebay is what we actually pay. The pump weighs 6 pounds but I put in 1 pound (the lowest weight I could).

With ebay fees, paypal fees, discounted shipping, box, peanuts, labor, etc. I can't sell it below my cost.

On the 50 state sale it would be $145 - 14.50 + 5.99 = ~$136. On eBay that bid would be $120 + 13 = $133. I'm not saying you should sell and lose money, but with the extra cost of eBay, it looks like this promotion isn't going to really be much of a deal vs just buying right through your site (and grabbing some ingredients since the shipping is flat).
I used to sell stuff through eBay/paypal, but over the years they've jacked up the fees and forced you to use paypal (more fees, same company), so I'll now use craigslist or the classifieds here (or elsewhere). I'd rather my money go to the small business vs eBay.

I understand. This is the best delivered price you will find on the new 815 pump. Ebay is a different audience so it reaches a lot of people that need a pump but don't homebrew and do not know AHS exists.

Maybe you could bypass all the Ebay fees etc. and tell me your lowest price. You're here telling me about the sale so I'm not part of your Ebay crowd so I'm not increasing your cust base there. Just sayin. PM's work if you wish.
