well im thinking of this for my conical next winter.....basement is say 55 degrees....im thinking a 5 gal bucket in my ferm chamber with an immersion heater in it....
my conical is one of the plastic ones....
http://www.spraysmarter.com/ace-roto-mold-white-inductor-tank-2.html These have a 12" diameter opening at the top...
so you think a 25 foot coil of 3/8" would work?

To be honest I'm not too sure but I don't see why it wouldn't. Are you planning on putting some type of insulation around it as well? I think that would be fine for keeping it warm rather than trying to keep it cool in 90+ degree weather. Does it stay pretty cool in the summer as well?

My first summer in the house. So far its staying about 66.....so no complaints!!
If I decide to pull the trigger I'm probably better off going bigger, pump will run less!

so much stainless in the pictures makes me want to replace my copper herms coil with stainless as originally planned. Damn Texas water is hard on copper.

Do it....do it....do it now. Gilbert water switched to the ugly method for the summer and you can smell the chlorine in it! Horrible stuff.

I'm confused. You're showing chillers in this thread, but on your site, it says "coming soon". Are these prototype or special orders? Will there ever be an off the shelf immersion chiller?

Right now all immersion chillers are made to order until I get more time to work on the site. Eventually I would like something similar to the tubing options. If you want one made I've been using the tubing section to give people an idea what one costs.
1st Select the tubing size and length
2nd Select the coil diameter
3rd Select 4 bends
Last tell me how tall or any information on how you would like it (4 bends for an immersion chiller) otherwise I can base it on fitting inside a Keggle. If your looking for hose connections like the picture above, just let me know.

Ohhh... how I want one of these. Gotta get my keezer up and running though, and then I'll pimp my setup with some more SS!
Any chance of adding a whirlpool arm directly to one of your chillers? Would make for a slick setup.
