Default Hops for Hope Hurricane Relief!!!!

We know that many of our brewers and their families have been affected by the terrible storm along the East Coast and the American Red Cross has been doing a great job getting set up to take care of all the people in need. And as always the Red Cross counts on donations to do what they do. We were planning on running a sale this coming week highlighting the great hops from New Zealand, so here's the plan.

We are still running the sale starting today, up to 50% OFF the regular price on ALL of our NZ hops and 100% of the proceeds from the sale will go directly to the Red Cross. If you haven't gotten to try some of these amazing hops, here is your chance and it's for a great cause.

We sent this notice out to our store newsletter about 2 hours ago and we have already raised over $850 !!!!! The sale will continue until next Thursday or until all the hops are sold out (Nelson Sauvin already sold out, Rakau almost gone)

Here are the hops (and sale price):
Nelson Sauvin (NZ) $1.49/oz
Rakau (NZ) 99¢/oz
Pacifica (NZ) 65¢/oz
Motueka (NZ) 99¢/oz
Wakatu (NZ) 89¢/oz
Pacific Jade (NZ) 89¢/oz
Pacific Gem (NZ) 89¢/oz

So throw some of these hops in your cart, remember 100% of the money raised on these hops will go straight to The American Red Cross.

You can see all of our Down Under hops HERE

Though i'm a bit late to the party, this is an awesome thing you guys are doing. Bravo. Way to step up and contribute any way you can.

Bought a half pound of wakatu and pacifica just because of this. Thanks.

Thank you for your donation!!!

Just a quick update, in the last 4 hours we have raised over $1200 for the Red Cross and sold out of all the NZ hops except for Pacifica and Pac Jade (both very good hops - we had a whole lot more of those to start with and still have quite a bit of both if anyone still wants to donate).

Cheers,
Tom

Very good thing that you're doing. Ordered a half pound each of what you had left. Not exactly sure how I'll use them, but they should last me a while.

Put a order in for some of the last two hops standing to support the cause and added some of the Rebel Brewing Pub Ale yeast to try out.

Thanks for great way to support the east coasters that are suffering.

SOLD OUT!!!!!!
Thanks to everyone that participated. With your help we raised right at $2000 that is going directly to the American Red Cross and we were able to get the Weather Channel to match the funds on it!! So your love of hops is sending $4000 to the Red Cross for Disaster Relief.
Just a note, that was just over 150 POUNDS of New Zealand hops and most of it went in the first 24 hours.
Thanks again.
Brewers make a difference.
