Default Free Samples for feedback...

I have a new product that I would like to give samples out for feedback. I am a bit leary about doing that. Last time I gave out samples for feedback, over 150 samples were given, but zero feedback was received.

What can I do besides beg for feedback?

Forrest

Well you know I like to write....I'll give you any feedback I can on whatever it is. I'm also a minister, so I'm not supposed to lie. So if I give you my word I will.

I pmmed you about the last product when you were looking but I never heard back nor got it, so I figured I was just too late. I would have given you that one too.

It just depends on what it is...of course I'm wondering if it's a certain new yeast strain...WHICH I WOULD LOVE TO BE ONE OF THE FIRST TO USE AND REVIEW!!!

Depending on the product, I would help with a review. I have a few brew sessions coming up the pike, so I could do a review soon. I reserve the right to not do it though if it is not something I would want to use...

I would love to help. with feedback and product testing and the likes. I'm in school and always need things to distract me from work.

PM me and tell me what your new product is. I'd be happy to give you feedback if I could use it.

Dang Forrest, 150 samples and zero feedback. That really sucks. Maybe only offer the samples to well-known upstanding members of the forums you frequent, so that there is a better chance they'll review it. That way you're not just sending stuff to scrubs just looking for free stuff. I'd be willing to review the product if it's something I could use (not an alco-boost or similar).

you're always going to lose a percentage of feedback, but when we do trials at work and need feedback we usually have to attach it to a contest, like "if you submit feedback you will be entered to win..." unfortunately its another outlay, but it usually brings back enough feedback.

I'd gladly give feedback if, like Boerderij, it is something i would use. I will be brewing 4 batches over the last weekend of Oct and first of Nov. I'm dry

Default Feedback for samples

I would keep a list of people who did not give feedback on the last product and eliminate them from the recieving the new product. I would be interested in helping depending on what the product is.

I'd gladly give some feedback for a free trial. I have a brewday coming up next weekend. My brewery is kinda small.....52 qt MLT, 60 qt BK, IC, buckets and a BB for fermenting, and a TAD system for serving, along with bottles. Nothing fancy, so I don't know if my system qualifies for the new product, but AHB is one of 3 sites I order from, and I'd gladly help you for helping me.

Similar to mentioned above, rather than giving the sample away free, offer to refund 50-75% of the purchase price once feedback has been received? That way the incentive for the feedback exists *after* the customer has used the product. Giving the product away for free up front simply removes any real reason for the customer to follow up.
