I am not saying your beer will suck. But you want it to taste its optimum best, right?
Sorry if I came on too strong. Not my intention.

No harm, no foul.
I have been looking at it for awhile, and since I sometimes pitch yeast from a packet, this would be a great idea.

Now this was an extract batch and I did have a decently high krauzen in my ale pail. However it did not get into the airlock and I pitched an appropriate amount of yeast (wlp001). So far this has been my fastest fermentation.
I do that with out yeast fuel.

The web site lists what is not in this product but I saw no mention of what is in it. Did I just not dig deep enough?

I use it and swear by it on all my big beers. I've definitely noticed a difference and in some cases by more than the 2 days Forrest specified.
And for what it's worth, I wouldn't ferment in a 6.5g w/o a blowoff. Thought I could squeeze by with one ONCE. Big mistake.

Proof is in the pictures... Anyone brew a 10 gallon batch and split between two buckets. Give them equal starters, shaking, etc and add nutrients to one batch and have a krausen race.
Perceived effect is often different then true effect.
