So basically the thread is different for the handle?

Besides that, it would be appropriate for say a coffin keezer build where you have a tower you are building?

Is the elbow made to fit beer line right on it with a clamp or how would you attach that?

Yes the only thing that is off with these is that the thread for the handle is a weird size so it you don't like the black handle that comes with it you would have to modify your tap handle thread.

Yes the shank will accept a clamped hose like any other nipple shank

For installation in a tower: We put a clamp on it when we are assembling towers by unloosening the nut that holds the shank on to the tower and running the hose through the shank hole and the shank nut and doing it from the outside then just pushing it back in. - keeps you from scraping your fingers.

Ok I have turned all the option boxes off - so what you see in the picture is what you get. We have a little over 100 left now.

Looks like I forgot to mention that these are self-closing meaning when you don't have to push the handle back after pulling forward to pour. - added to description now.

Does the tailpiece come off so this could be used as a regular shank? I want to order a handful (4-6) but wanted to know how much flexibility I'd have if I didn't need them all for a tower.

Maybe the better question is how does the tailpiece connect to the shank? I've seen the ones that are held on by the beer nut but the connection in the picture looks different.
