I have heard of and seen many home brewers do exactly that.. Just what you want to do after a nice long day of brewing. All it takes is that one split second, and 5, 6, 8 hours of brewing is all over. Hopefully, you or someone you knew walked without any injury. We realize that glass carboys are much cheaper than our Stainless Steel "Cavern". However, we need to think of safety. What's more important? Having some extra money in your wallet and not being able to walk because you sliced some major tendons in your foot after dropping that glass carboy? Absolutely beautify stuff!

Sadly I cannot afford the $1200.00 to replace the half dozen Better Bottles I currently employ.

I am glad to hear you are using something other than glass. Safety is our number one concern!

OTOH, the growlers are pretty sweet! I just put those on my xmas list. Perhaps you should be marketing those a bit more aggressively? (I'm thinking they fit in the average home brewers budget a bit better than the carboys?)

I bought the growler that looks like a keg. It's pretty sweet. Everyone that's seen it loved it.

Maybe I missed it, but what grade of stainless are those? They look pretty sweet.

I love the idea of stainless growlers, but I don't know why the manufacturers have not taken it a step further and put a ball-lock gas in post on it so you can pressurize it.

I understand from the description that you can prime these which is great unless you do not plan on drinking the whole growler in one sitting.
