Another underdog option. Have a contest where to enter you pick a team or a few teams (it's more fun to have 3-5 teams to root for). For each win, you get 1 point times the seed. Have a preset range of discounts for the total points after the tourney. So if you pick an 7 seed and they win 3 games, you get 21 points. Pick a 3 seed and they win 4 games, you get 12. Maybe 12 gets you a 5% discount and 21 gets you 15%.

My idea was that whoever buys a pump from now till the beginning of the tournament...picks a team (or you could have then pick 2 or 3) don't count any out the first seed teams...and then do a refund of a percentage based on how far their team makes it...

Example:

I buy a pump that's $140...? (couldn't see a price on your website)

I pick Ohio State and say Kent State...

OSU ends up not counting cause they are a first seed team (so my team is Kent State)

If they win their first round I get (I have no clue what the mark up margin is on pumps) 8% of my money refunded $11.20

If they win their 2nd round I would get a 11% refund $15.40

If they win their 3rd round game if get a 15% refund $21.00....

And so on till if the team I picked won it all.... Say maybe up to 30% refund... $42.00


Of course the percents would
Vary depending on the margins on the pump (can't refund 30% if you are only making 25% on them)

It would sell some pumps ahead of time and give people a reason to pick a team and root for them...

Different % sale every time, could be a little, could be significant. The game decides the sale.

Everyone picks a team. Get a Jersey for each team in the tourny, and put them on a bunch of hot chicks.
Then make them try to dunk a basketball.(say 7' Rim)
The teams that get a dunk get 50% Off.
That would be entertaining on so many levels.

Why not have people enter in their beers as teams? They can send their team to the big game (your office) and you set up brackets. They compete (i.e. you drink and compare them) to see who advances to the next bracket. Final Four get 25% off a pump, winner gets a free pump, and you get really drunk!
