My concern is there is a crimped seam down the length of the tube and the bottom is folded over on one end to seal it off. This creates 3-4 layers of steel- the perfect spots for germs to hide and infect beer if they are not cleaned/sanitized properly. I imagine I will clean with very hot PBW and sanitize in a pressure cooker. Is this overkill? Can you recommend a simpler/better/just as effective method to clean/sanitize?
I'd just toss it in boiling water for a couple minutes before putting it in the keg.
