We just received more Perlick faucets including the new 575ss creamer faucet. This is the faucet that Midwest Supplies sells for $49.99 our price is $29.99 while they last.

I am not going to post the prices in the forum because months from now people will ask if the price is the same and it won't be.

We have run out of 525ss faucets already. We have a lot more coming next Tuesday. I will continue to take orders and ship them then so you can have the sale price. Once we run out of the number we have coming next Tuesday the sale will end.

Any sales on stout faucets ever?

Austinhomebrew 09-30-2009 08:05 PM

Show me the faucet and the price and I will see what I can do.

Any stout faucet. They are always priced around $79-$89 which is too much for such a dedicated piece of equipment. Basically we are paying $50 extra for a restrictor plate and extended nozzle.

You can just order the Perlick 575ss faucet and it has a similar effect. Unfortunately you want to pay less than I pay for a stout faucet. Not much I can do about that.

Actually I never said how much I wanted to pay. But you are probably right. The thing is I would push maybe one, maybe two kegs per year of stout which make it hard to justify any expense. I love a well-pulled pint of stout and hate stout from a bottle or an improperly pulled pint.

I have wondered about that creamer feature, whether that would do the trick. I would love to have someone say 'yes, I have done it and it works well' but I suspect that it would require a lot of playing with serving pressures to make it work for stout since it is not about head size it is about infusing the whole beer with microbubbles. That would mean that you have to pour the whole beer through the creamer. Which would mean a very low carb level on the beer but a high serving pressure.

You need a stout faucet /restrictor disc and beergas to get that nitrogen mix/cascading creamy thing happening. Now if someone made a spout with restrictor for a Perlick 425SS that would be cool.
