Any feedback from those of you who bought one? I have yet to read a review...

Read all 11 pages... Was just hoping for more of a 'review', but haven't seen a single bad word said about it.

Rebel Brewer

What's the deal with motorizing these instead of using a drill? I already have a motorized set up and all I would have to do is swap out the mills. Will it handle motorizing?

Reread my post.... the welds on the inside of the hopper could have been a little cleaner, but I think the reason there aren't any negative posts is... there is nothing wrong with it. Made in the USA, built like a tank, and performs well. Other than free, I couldn't ask for more.

Two questions, can we get the mill sans the wooden base for a small discount? Also can I easily get a direct drive motor and attach to a mill stand I build?

Mine works great, it's heavy duty and awesome, just get one. You certainly could attach a motor to it, that's my next project.

It's on my list of potential upgrades, but I will wait for someone to put 1500lbs of grain through it before being barley crushed again!

Any word on the hopper extension? I hate to be inconvenienced by having to dump grain in twice when brewing.
