Was this post before or after we told you we would be sending a replacement unit?

What we are getting at is....
Did you contact us for a replacement before posting?
Did you inform us that there was a problem?
Did you remember that with ANY manufactured item made on this planet that there is a percentage of defects in production?

Would you like a replacement unit?

I don't have personal experience with it, but the fact that the dealer is posting here, standing behind his product is a pretty good sign to me. If I needed one I'd give it a shot.

You get what you pay for always. It's a less expensive analog option. Expect less precise results with less precise temp setting. If you get anything better than that, then A+. If you get just that, then you can still be happy for getting what you paid for.

If you get 62° when you set it to 80°, it's junk or a defective unit and it looks like the company is will to help you. If you get a second one that is equally as inaccurate, send it back for a refund and buy a higher end one.

At any given point, once set I can move the temperture selector knob 3/16" of an inch in either direction....basically it is almost impossible to set a temperature without constantly monitoring the temperature and moving the knob a bit and hoping it is right.

Save your money and buy a digital RANCO as I should have.

So, I have a minifridge from college that a fermenting bucket will fit in. If I hook this up, will it work just as it would with a freezer ? I would imagine so, but just asking
