This is a new product for me that I came up with after shortening a few thermowells for customers with B3 sculptures. In each case the thermowell was interfering with a heat exchanger or chiller. That and they wanted the nicely polished end instead of the crimped end. If you are doing a digital HLT conversion or SMART, RIMS or HERMS system and want an all stainless steel thermowell take a look at this one.
It can penetrate up to 6" into the vessel and has a 6" heat shield welded to it as well.
