I have 1/4 in Bevlex 200 right now and would like to replace the 5ft lines with 10ft lines.

Do I need to replace the barbs to fit 3/16 line? Besides the additional 1/16, what is the benefit / difference in 3/16 vs. 1/4 line?

Yes, That link is the stuff...For your questions on the barbs, etc i would ask some folks on the forum that have used this.
