I dont see how it wouldnt be. It has 2 continous silicone type gaskets in the fermenter and lid. I am planning on adding a ball lock post to mine. I will just have to get a solid stopper.

Well, there are lots for sale, including where this deal was: Austin Homebrew Supply. Just do a google search for "conical fermenters." Not sure you'll find a deal like the one mentioned here, though.
