Update: We finally got word back that the shipment has still not arrived. On our end we have no explanation for the long delivery time but we have proof that they were shipped in September. Again as soon as they arrive we will announce that they are being mailed out. We hope that it will be within the next few days. Jeff

I can't speak for everyone but I wanted to say thanks for updating us and doing what you can to get them in. I know they will be here soon and you'll get them turned around as quick as you can. I just appreciate the chance to get a quality plate chiller at a great price. Thanks again.

I probably wouldnt have ordered from here if I had known about the long delay times (longer than what was posted on the site, October 5). Also, is it common for a vendor to take payment at time of order rather than processing payment just prior to shipping? I feel like this is basically just a group buy where the purchasers front all of the money and the vendor is just putting in the order to get a quantity discount.

Yes I was surprised that they charged immediately as well - any time I've ordered something I get charged when the product ships, not a month before.
Not much to do though other than take the vendors word at this point.

What's frustrating is I live in canada and am shipping this to a depot where I can drive across te border an pick it up. I also have a digital camera just sitting there waiting, but I can't justify two trips and am handcuffed by this plate chiller.

Hopefully it all gets resolved soon.
