This version is going to have 1/2" Male NPT on every post - the fittings for these are now available when you order so there is no need to pay shipping twice.

Hi David everything will be the same as 40 plate chiller except it will have 10 more plates making it slightly taller.

Already ordered a 40, what's the recommended method to prevent hop clogging? I use a hop sock w/ mostly pellet hops.

Well you are on the right path. Most of the discussions in here are discussing preventive measures such as filtering -using cloth bags etc to keep obstructions to a minimum. I have not found a reference to someone who actually had a clogged CFC or Plate chiller - but the topic does seem to come up quite a bit.
