What are rum barrels good for aging? I see people are buying them, but I've never really heard of any beer aged in rum barrels. Seems like whiskey barrels are all the rage for aging.

Well, I've had Stouts, Triples, IIPA, and Porters all aged in Rum barrels and I have to say they were all very good. I actually put .5/oz of rum in my brown porter when I pull a pint. It's really good.
