We use it on 10 gallon igloo coolers for mash tun conversion ...so yes.

I guess I would have to know what obstructions are involved with a 5 gallon cooler - as far as I can tell igloo is using the same push button spigot on all of their stuff.

Any plans to sell a bulkhead on its own. Couldn't find one on the site that didn't have a valve. I've got plenty of valves and just need the bulkhead.
Also do you take paypal? I just sold a bunch of crap on ebay to convert to brew equip and though it may be easier instead of transferring first.
