Default who here brews double batches?

Will this work?

I'm thinking of getting an out door turkey fryer that holds 8.5 gallons.

boil 4 gallons of water and pour 2 gallons into 2 fermentors.

that leaves me 6 gallons in the brew pot.

will the 8.5 gallon pot contain the foamy 6 gallons of wort when boiling?

If i can do double batches, then i can drink more beer quicker.

I've done it, great way to boost your supply.
An 8.5 gal kettle will definately hold a 6 gal boil. You need to watch out for boilovers, but that's always anyway.
