So this is my second beer (APA kit), I decided to rack to secondary two weeks ago. Moved it to the counter today to bottle tonight. I have kept it covered with a trash bag to block the light. When I removed the bag, I found a small white ring around the bottom of the carboy, just above the trub. Not sure if it is just part of the trub, or mold, which is obviously my biggest concern. It is quite hazy, but not solid like the very bottom is. There are a few very small white spots at the top of the fermentor, which look similar to small carbonation bubbles. Any advice or opinion would help...Thanks

My guess is you don't know what is wrong until you taste it when you are bottling. But from what you have described I'm not so sure I would worry about it. RDWHAHB :)
