Default When should I add the belgian candi sugar...

making a dubbel tonight does anyone have any idea when i should add the sugar?

At the end, in the last 5-10 minutes. Boiling longer will just result in lower hop utilization and darker caramelization.

I agree about adding it near the end. Candi sugar is made by boiling up water and sugar, the longer it's boiled the darker and more caramel flavoured it gets. If you boil light candi sugar in your brew for a long time it will end up like dark candi sugar.
