What's this on top of my beer?
Hello everyone,
I have a question after fermenting my first All Grain beer. After opening the fermenter for dry hopping and measuring my final gravity I noticed what is pictured below... Is this infection or yeast floating? http://i.imgur.com/IFk8i.jpg I used the BRY 97 and have never noticed this when I have done extract brews in the past. Thanks for your help. :mug: |
Yeast floating. It doesn't look like an infection.

Yeast is brown infection is white??
|
Yeast can be white too. You will definitely know when you have an infection. Those are just yeast rafts. Relax, bottle or keg it, and enjoy when carbed. :tank:

Agreed, yeast. Totally normal
|
Yup,yeast rafts & I also see some hop oils floating with'em.
