Default What are the ideal temperatures for home brewing?

Hello,

Could someone please tell me the ideal temperatures, both internal and outside air for home brewing.

Adding Yeast Internal -

Fermentation Outside Air -
Fermentation Internal -

Secondary Outside Air -
Secondary Internal -

Bottling Outside Air -

Well, if you're making an ale, 65-68 degrees for all of the above!

Its just that easy. From pitching, through fermentation, to bottle conditioning up to 72 degrees is alright but Yooper his the ideal temp range.

ideally mid-60s for ales. it does depend entirely on the style of beer and the yeast, however.

and you're concerned about the temperature of your wort or beer, NOT the temperature outside (unless it affects it, of course)

++^ on the above

I have brewed ales at 74/75 in the summer...the temperature in the bucket while in the first stage of fermentation rose to 78 (had to secure the blow off hose and got some kraussen blowoff)
at 68 in winter my blowoff burps like a happy kitten.
